When I decided to get an old car I had no idea what to look for other than I wanted it to have old style wings and the old fashioned wing mounted headlights.
After months of looking on the internet I saw a car on Ebay. I called Martin, the seller and following a chat with him (and getting permission from my wife because she liked the look of it) I agreed to buy it subject to seeing it. After fun and games trying to hire a self drive car transporter both me and my wife took a trip to Cradley Heath, Birmingham to see the car. When the garage door was opened and the car revealed it was difficult not to seem too excited as the car looked far nicer than either of us expected. Following a short test drive with a huge smile on my face money changed hands and I was the proud owner of a 1946 Morris Ten-Series "M"
The Morris was first registered in November 1946 and the original owner drove the car until 1957 when the engine oil pressure was lost. He parked it in a garage until it was discovered around 2004 by Martin who I bought it from. He carried out an extensive restoration lasting 5 years. This included an engine rebuild, a bare metal respray and completely reupholstering the interior including seats, carpets and headlining. The car is a credit to Martin who did most of the work.
If you feel you have a use for my Morris please contact me to discuss further.
Thankyou
